Columbia Basin Hay Report

This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Monday. Let’s go to Greg Sanders with the USDA to hear this week’s hay report.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day Up 14 ¾, to finish at 8-59 ¾. Dec Corn was Dn ¼, to finish the day at 6-77 ¼. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were Up 9, to settle at 9-35 ¼.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Unch, ranging from 9-45 to 10-00. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Nov. were Dn 05- Unch, ranging from 9-42 to 9-59. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Nov. were Up 09, ranging from 10-55 ¼ to 10-85 ¼. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Nov. were Up 10, ranging from 10-18 ¾ to 10-38 ¾.

Live Cattle for Dec. were Dn $.35, closing at 150.97 ½. Oct. Feeder Cattle were Up $.32 ½, to finish the day at 181.25. Oct. Class III milk was Up $.07, to settle at 21.45.
