WineVit 2023 Pt 1
From the Ag Information Network, I’m Bob Larson with today’s Fruit Grower Report. Folks from Washington’s wine community can begin preparing for the next industry convention as WineVit 2023 has been announced.
Put simply, Sarah Higgins, Assitant Director of the Washington Wine Growers Association, says WineVit is set up for the industry …
HIGGINS … “It is essentially the Washington wine industries opportunity to gather and network. We’ve got a couple of days of educational sessions. We’ve got a trade show with exhibitors sharing the latest in innovations and services and equipment. It is the place to be in February if you are a member of the Washington wine industry.”
WineVit, Higgins says will be held again at the Three Rivers Convention Center in Kennewick …
HIGGINS … “That convention takes place Monday, February 6th through Thursday the 9th.”
The WineVit tradition, Higgins says, has been in the making for some time …
HIGGINS … “The conventions been going on for quite some time, for several years, but recently the Wine Growers Association rebranded the convention to give it its own name. And so WineVit is a clever combination of, well, the wine aspect of the industry as well as the viticulture or the grape-growing aspect of the industry.”
Higgins says registration for attendees opens in November, but registration for exhibitors in the trade show is open now … so contact the Washington Wine Growers Association for details. Go to www.winevit.org for details.
