This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Thursday. Feeder Cattle firmed up, taking advantage of some softer feed prices. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day Dn 11 ¾, to finish at 8-72 ¼. Dec Corn was Dn 10 ½, to finish the day at 6-82 ¼. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were Up 13 ¼, to settle at 9-47.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Up 30 - 05, ranging from 9-45 to 10-05. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Oct. were Up 28 - 7, ranging from 9-45 to 9-57. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Oct. were Up 23 ¼ - 13 ¼, ranging from 10-67 to 10-97. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Nov. were Up 06 ¾, ranging from 10-18 to 10-38.

Live Cattle for Oct. were Dn $.45, closing at 144.35. Oct. Feeder Cattle were Up $.90, to finish the day at 181.42 ½. Oct. Class III milk was Unch, to settle at 21.61.
