All Eyes On Upcoming USDA Report

This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Tuesday. All eyes continue to focus on the weeks upcoming USDA report for commodity yield estimates. Let’s go to Oliver Sloup with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day Dn 10 ¾, to finish at 8-58 ¾. Dec Corn was Up 11, to finish the day at 6-96. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were Dn 2 ¼, to settle at 9-27 ¼.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Unch – Dn 05, ranging from 9-15 to 9-95. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Oct. were Unch, ranging from 8-92 to 9-50. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Oct. were Dn 02 ¼, ranging from 10-37 to 10-77. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Nov. were Dn 01, ranging from 10-06 ½ to 10-26 ½.

Live Cattle for Oct. were Up $.07 ½, closing at 145.75. Oct. Feeder Cattle were Dn $2.45, to finish the day at 183.12 ½. Oct. Class III milk was Up $.74, to settle at 21.67.
