This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Thursday. Stronger Corn prices soften the Feeder Market, but overall still holding their own. Let’s go to Terry Roggensack with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day Up 27 ¼, to finish at 8-44 ¼. Dec Corn was Dn 5, to finish the day at 6-71. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were Up 19 ½, to settle at 9-01 ½.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Up 30 - 20, ranging from 9-15 to 9-80. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Nov. were Up 19 - 35, ranging from 8-94 to 9-50. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Nov. were Up 19 ½ - 49 ½, ranging from 10-11 ½ to 10-51 ½. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Nov. were Up 10 ¼ - 30 ¼, ranging from 9-80 to 10-00.

Live Cattle for Oct. were Dn $.80, closing at 150.07 ½. Oct. Feeder Cattle were Dn $2.15, to finish the day at 183.95. Oct. Class III milk was Up $.25, to settle at 20.34.
