This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Tuesday. Supply and demand continues to be the main character as Corn crops expected to come up short. Let’s go to Ted Seifried with the CME Group to explain more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day Up 37 ½, to finish at 8-42 ¾. Dec Corn was Up 18 ¾, to finish the day at 6-83. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were Up 30 ¼, to settle at 9-12 ½.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Unch- Up 30, ranging from 8-50 to 9-40. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Oct. were Unch- Up 02, ranging from 8-52 to 8-92. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Nov. were Up 30 ¼, ranging from 10-22 ½ to 10-32 ½. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Oct. were Up 23 ¾, to settle at 10-13 ¼.

Live Cattle for Oct. were Dn $.15, closing at 142.90. Oct. Feeder Cattle were Dn $2.32 ½, to finish the day at 181.07 ½. Oct. Class III milk was Dn $.35, to settle at 20.41.
