This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Wednesday. The Cattle Market found momentum yesterday as demand picks up with news of China suspending Imports to Australia. Here’s Terry Roggensack with the CME Group to explain more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day Dn 15, to finish at 8-02 ¾. Dec Corn was Dn 18, to finish the day at 6-10 ¼. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were Dn 11 ¾, to settle at 8-73 ¼.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Unch, ranging from 8-80 to 9-50. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Oct. were Dn 10 to Unch, ranging from 8-62 to 9-02. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Oct. were Dn 11 ¾, ranging from 9-83 ¼ to 9-88 ¼. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Oct. were Dn 10 ¼, ranging from 9-82 ¼ to 10-02 ¼.

Live Cattle for Oct. were Up $1.87 ½, closing at 145.67 ½. Sept. Feeder Cattle were Up $2.47 ½ to finish the day at 185.47 ½. Sept. Class III milk was Up $.52 to settle at 20.87.
