This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Thursday. Signs of improving demand in the grain market, as exports begin to pick up. Here’s Terry Roggensack with the CME Group to share more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. closed the day Up 18 ¼, to finish at 7-99 ¾. Dec Corn was Up 4 ½, to finish the day at 6-18 ½. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were Up 18 ½, to settle at 8-76 ¾.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Unch, ranging from 8-50 to 9-50. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Oct. were Dn 05 to Unch, ranging from 8-82 to 9-08. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Sept. were Up 18 ½, ranging from 9-86 ¾ to 9-17 ½. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Oct. were Up 12 ¾, ranging from 9-89 ¼ to 10-09 ¼.

Live Cattle for Oct. were Up $1.30, closing at 144.47 ½. Sept. Feeder Cattle were Up $2.50 to finish the day at 185.00. Aug Class III milk was Up $.34 to settle at 20.21.
