This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Friday. The Soybean market continues to see volatility through the week, as tensions rise between the US and China. Let’s go to Ted Seifried with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. closed the day Up 18 ¾, to finish at 7-82 ½. Dec Corn was Up 10, to finish the day at 6-06 ¼. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept were Up 24 ¾, to settle at 8-60 ¼.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Unch, ranging from 9-00 to 9-75. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Sept. were Up 10 Unch, ranging from 8-90 to 9-25. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Sept. were UP 24 ¾, ranging from 9-70 ¼ to 9-80 ¼. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Oct. were Up 19 ¾, ranging from 9-88 ¾ to 9-98 ¾.

Live Cattle for Oct. were dn $.30, closing at 143.65. Sept. Feeder Cattle were Dn $.32 ½ to finish the day at 182.57 ½. Sept. Class III milk was Dn $.42 to settle at 19.48.
