This is Josilyn Fullerton with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Wednesday. Grain was under pressure once again with the excessive heat wave across the United States. Let’s go to Joe Vaclavik’s Podcast Grain Markets and Other Stuff for more information.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. closed the day UP 33 ¾ , to finish at 8-03 ¾. Dec. Corn was UP 17, to finish the day at 6 3/4. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. were UP 37 ¼, to settle at 8-77.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein was DN 3-00, ranging from 8-90 to 9-50. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Sept. were UNCH, ranging 8-90 to 9-35. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Sept. were UP 37 ¼ ranging from 9-77 - 9.97. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Sept. were UP 44 ¾ to 59 ¾, ranging from 9-98 ¾ to 10-38 ¾.

Live Cattle for Oct were DN $.87 ½, closing at 136.87 ½ . Aug Feeder Cattle were DN $1.87 ½ to finish the day at 177.42 ½ Sept Class III milk was UP $.19 to settle at 22.50.
