This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Monday. An increase in beef exports gave the market a boost, as futures rallied Friday to finish the week. Let’s go to Oliver Sloup with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. closed the day Dn 47 ¼ to finish at 7-59 . Dec. Corn was Dn 9 ¼, to finish the day at 5-64 ¼. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. were Dn 41, to settle at 8-20 ¼.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were UNCH, ranging from 9-20 to 9-80. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Sept. were Dn 20-05, to settle at 8-80 to 9-30. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Sept. were Dn 41, ranging from 9-20 ¼ to 9-40 ¼. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Sept. were Dn 41 ½, ranging from 9-31 to 9-66.

Live Cattle for Oct were Up $2.02 ½, closing at 143.00. Sept. Feeder Cattle were Up $3.17 ½, to finish the day at 184.47 ½. Sept Class III milk was Dn $.28, to settle at 19.89.
