This is Josilyn Fullerton with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Thursday. With a steady cash market and higher temperatures throughout the country, live cattle are on the rise. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. closed the day UP 7 ¼ to finish at 8-19 ½ . Dec. Corn was UP 5 ¼, to finish the day at 5-90. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. were UP 1 ¼, to settle at 8-70 ½ .

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were UNCH to UP 10, ranging from 9-20 to 9-80. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Sept. were UNCH to UP 12 to settle at 9-0 to 9-35. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Sept. were UP 1-25 , ranging from 9-70 ½ to 9-90 ½ DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Sept. were Dn 5-50, ranging from 9-84 ¼ to 10-19 ¼.

Live Cattle for Oct were DN $.02 ½, closing at 141.32 ½. Aug Feeder Cattle were DN $.92 ½ to finish the day at 177.82 ½. Sept Class III milk was UP $.70 to settle at 20.51.
