This is Josilyn Fullerton with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Friday. With higher feed prices and inflation fears rising, the beef market cooled off yesterday. Let’s go to Joe Vacklavicks Podcast grain markets and other stuff for more information.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. closed the day Dn 15 ¾ to finish at 7-95 . Dec. Corn was UP 5 ¾ , to finish the day at 6-01 . Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. were Dn 13 ½, to settle at 8-48 ¾ .

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were UNCH, ranging from 9-10 to 9-60. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Sept. were Dn 10 to UNCH to settle at 9-0 to 9-10. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Sept. were DN 13-50 , ranging from 9-43 ¾ to 9-63 ¾ DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Sept. were Dn 3-25, ranging from 9-70 ½ to 9-90 ½.

Live Cattle for Aug were DN $1.47 ½ $ , closing at 135.40. Aug Feeder Cattle were DN $1.90 to finish the day at 178.90. Aug Class III milk was Dn $.59 to settle at 20.36.
