This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Tuesday. The Beef Market hit the ground running yesterday, as demand picks up with tight demand. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. closed the day Dn 35, to finish at 8-56 ½. Dec. Corn was Up 3 ¾, to finish the day at 6-37. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. were Dn 30 ½, to settle at 9-15 ¼.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein was Unch, ranging from 9-30 to 10-25. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Sept. were Unch, ranging 9-30 to 9-75. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Sept. were Dn 30 ½, ranging from 10-10 ¼ to 10-30 ¼. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Sept. were Dn 28, ranging from 10-23 ¾ to 10-43 ¾.

Live Cattle for Aug were Up $2.20, closing at 136.15. Aug Feeder Cattle were Up $3.15 to finish the day at 174.87 ½. Aug Class III milk was Dn $.05 to settle at 21.70.
