This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Wednesday. With more extreme heat forecasted across much of the Midwest, continued stress could factor into the market over the next couple weeks. Let’s go to Terry Roggensack with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. closed the day Dn 39, to finish at 8-07. Sept. Corn was Dn 27 ½, to finish the day at 5-92 ¼. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. were Dn 51 ½, to settle at 8-62.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein was Dn 50-Unch, ranging from 9-50 to 10-60. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Sept. were Dn 50-Unch, ranging from 9-00 to 10-50. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Sept. were Dn 50 ½, ranging from 9-47 to 9-77. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Sept. were Dn 58, ranging from 9-50 to 9-85.

Live Cattle for Aug were Dn $1.67 ½, closing at 132.92 ½. Aug Feeder Cattle were Dn $1.80 to finish the day at 172.70. Aug Class III milk was Dn $.74 to settle at 21.68.
