This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Friday. More moisture in the forecast across the MidWest has commodity producers on edge. Let’s go to Joe Vaclavik with “Grain Markets and Other Stuff” to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. closed the day Dn 46, to finish at 8-68 ¾. Sept. Corn was Dn 35 ¼, to finish the day at 6-28 ¾. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. were Dn 39 ½, to settle at 9-51 ¾.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein was Dn 30-35, ranging from 10-10 to 10-60. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Sept. were Dn 40-Unch, ranging from 10-00 to 10-50. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Sept. were Dn 39 ½, ranging from 10-36 ¾ to 10-66 ¾. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Sept. were Dn 38 ½, ranging from 10-50 to 10-85.

Live Cattle for Aug were Up $.40, closing at 132.57 ½. Aug Feeder Cattle were Up $2.87 ½ to finish the day at 173.60. Aug Class III milk was Dn $.51 to settle at 22.82.
