This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Wednesday. US corn crops decline across several states, meanhwhile wheat harvest ahead of schedule. Let’s go to Joe Vaclavik with Grain Markets and Other Stuff to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. closed the day Up 18 ½, to finish at 9-36. Sept. Corn was Up 8 ½, to finish the day at 6-69 ¾. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. were Up 11 ½, to settle at 9-90 ¼.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein was Unch – Up 5, ranging from 10-40 to 10-95. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Aug were Unch, ranging from 10-40 to 10-50. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Aug. were Up 11 ½, ranging from 10-75 ¼ to 11-05 ¼. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Aug. were Dn 3 ¾, ranging from 11-00 ¾ to 11-35 ¾.

Live Cattle for Aug were Dn $.75, closing at 132.72 ½. Aug Feeder Cattle were Dn $2.30 to finish the day at 171.82 ½. Aug Class III milk was Up $.08 to settle at 23.16.
