This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Tuesday. Grains found momentum in the market, taking advantage of the 3 day weekend. Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to explain more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for July closed the day Up 14 ¼, to finish at 11-57 ½. July Corn was Up 12 ¼, to finish the day at 7-77 ¼. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for July were Up 6 ¾, to settle at 12-35 ¼.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Unch, ranging from 11-00 to 12-30. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for July were Unch, ranging from 11-00 to 11-80. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Aug. were Up 7 ¼, ranging from 13-16 ¼ to 13-61 ¼. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Aug. were up 13, ranging from 13-64 ¾ to 14-04 ¾.

Live Cattle for Aug were Dn $.20, closing at 132.40. Aug Feeder Cattle were Dn $.35, to finish the day at 166.32 ½. June Class III milk was up $.26 to settle at 24.51.
