This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Monday. Cattle Futures finished last week on shaky ground, rising input costs continue to make things difficult. Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to explain more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for July closed the day Up 14 ¼, to finish at 11-57 ½. July Corn was Up 12 ¼, to finish the day at 7-77 ¼. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for July were Up 6 ¾, to settle at 12-35 ¼.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Unch, ranging from 11-00 to 12-30. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for July were Unch, ranging from 11-00 to 11-80. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Aug. were Up 7 ¼, ranging from 13-16 ¼ to 13-61 ¼. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Aug. were up 13, ranging from 13-64 ¾ to 14-04 ¾.

Live Cattle for Aug were Dn $.20, closing at 132.40. Aug Feeder Cattle were Dn $.35, to finish the day at 166.32 ½. June Class III milk was up $.26 to settle at 24.51.
