This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Wednesday. Upcoming rain forecasts across the MidWest offer temporary relief to some cattle ranchers. Here’s Terry Roggensack with the CME Group to explain how this could affect the market.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for July closed the day dn 35 ¼, to finish at 11-54 ¾. July Corn was Dn 14 ½, to finish the day at 7-71 ¾. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for July were Dn 38 ¾, to settle at 12-37 ¾.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Unch- Dn 20, ranging from 11-00 to 12-10. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for July were Unch- Dn 20, ranging from 11-00 to 11-60. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for July were dn 38, ranging from 13-17 ½ to 13-62 ½. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for July were dn 20 ½ - 21 ¼, ranging from 13-37 to 13-77 ¼.

Live Cattle for Aug were Dn $.22 ½, closing at 132.75. Aug Feeder Cattle were Up $2.52 ½ to finish the day at 168.15. June Class III milk was dn $.32 to settle at 24.15.
