June Cattle Hit Previous October Low's

This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Friday. Bearish factors continue to stack up in the cattle market, as prices fall to lows not seen since last October. Let’s go to Terry Roggensack with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for July closed the day Up 65 ¾, to finish at 11-78 ¾. July Corn was up 3, to finish the day at 7-91 ½. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for July were up 69 ½, to settle at 12-70.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Unch- Up 10, ranging from 11-00 to 11-80. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for July were Unch, ranging from 10-50 to 11-20. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for July were up 68 ½, ranging from 13-56 ½ to 13-91 ½. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for July were up 60, ranging from 13-81 ¾ to 14-16.

Live Cattle for Aug were dn $1.87 ½, closing at 132.77 ½. Aug Feeder Cattle were dn $3.47 ½ to finish the day at 166.52 ½. June Class III milk was up $.29 to settle at 24.10.
