This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Thursday. Live Cattle cooled off yesterday while Feeders hold steady, despite a run in higher feed prices. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to share more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for July closed the day up 31, to finish at 10-76 ½. July Corn was up 1 ¼, to finish the day at 7-94 ¼. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for July were up 30 ½, to settle at 11-23 ¼.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Unch, ranging from 11-00 to 11-75. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for July were Unch, ranging from 10-25 to 11-20. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for June were up 30 ½, ranging from 12-23 ¼ to 12-43 ¼. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for June were up 21 ¾, ranging from 12-57 ¼ to 12-97 ¼.

Live Cattle for June were dn $.50, closing at 134.82 ½. Aug Feeder Cattle were dn $.07 ½ to finish the day at 176.20. June Class III milk was up $.37 to settle at 24.30.
