This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Tuesday. Wheat was steady to firm while Corn saw more demand, weather playing key role as usual. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for July closed the day dn 2 ¾, to finish at 10-72 ½. July Corn was up 9, to finish the day at 7-98. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for July were up 3 ½, to settle at 11-53.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Unch- dn 15, ranging from 11-00 to 12-60. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for June were Unch – dn 17, ranging from 11-00 to 11-37. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for June were up 3 ½, ranging from 12-53 to 12-73. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for June were up 14 ¾, ranging from 12-57 ½ to 12-97 ½.

Live Cattle for June were dn $3.00, closing at 137.32 ½. Aug Feeder Cattle were dn $2.40 to finish the day at 174.50. May Class III milk was up $.13 to settle at 24.68.
