This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Thursday. The rally continues in the cattle market, as the market finds strength in demand and the upcoming grilling season. Let’s go to Terry Roggensack with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for July closed the day dn 21, to finish at 10-76 ½. July Corn was dn 14 ¾, to finish the day at 7-95 ¼. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for July were dn 26, to settle at 11-43 ½.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Unch- up 20, ranging from 11-00 to 13-00. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for June were Unch, ranging from 11-00 to 11-54. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for June were dn 26, ranging from 12-43 ½ to 12-63 ½. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for June were dn 17 ¾, ranging from 12-34 ½ to 12-74 ½.

Live Cattle for June were up $1.27 ½, closing at 139.90. May Feeder Cattle were up $2.37 ½ to finish the day at 164.85. May Class III milk was up $.40 to settle at 24.57.
