This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Thursday. Corn lost some momentum yesterday, however Wheat limited down as uncertainty drives volatility within the market. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to find out more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for May closed the day dn 85, to finish at 10-69 ¼. May Corn was dn 28, to finish the day at 7-30. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for May were dn 85, to settle at 10-72 ½.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Unch, ranging from 11-80 to 13-30. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for May were dn 5 to UNCH, ranging from 11-25 to 11-84. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for June were dn 85, ranging from 11-58 ½ to 11-68 ½. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for June were up 56 ½, ranging from 10-87 ¾ to 11-17 ¾.

Live Cattle for June were dn $1.27 ½, closing at 135.52 ½. April Feeder Cattle were up $.02 ½ to finish the day at 162.62 ½. May Class III milk was dn $.54 to settle at 23.33.
