This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Tuesday. Cattle regain some losses from last week, some expecting tighter supplies to create more demand. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to find out.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for May closed the day up 85, to finish at 12-94. May Corn was dn 3 ½, to finish the day at 7-50 ¾. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for May were up 37, to settle at 12-51 ½.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Unch- Dn 20, ranging from 11-80 to 13-30. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for April were Up 27- UNCH, ranging from 11-27 to 11-82. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for April were up 19 ¼ to 37, ranging from 13-33 ¾ to 15-01 ½. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for April were dn 29 and up 5 ½, ranging from 12-18 to 13-52 ½.

Live Cattle for April were up $2.12 ½, closing at 137.90. April Feeder Cattle were up $2.42 ½ to finish the day at 159.67 ½. April Class III milk was up $.29 to settle at 23.97.
