This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Friday. Tensions between Ukrain and Russia, sharply increase grain commodities over fear of export issues. Let’s go to Terry Roggensack with CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for March closed the day dn 6 ¼, to finish at 7-90 ¼. March Corn was up ½, to close at 6-11. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for March were dn 3 ½, to settle at 7-96 ½ .

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Unch -up 25, ranging from 10-20 to 14-00. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for March were Unch – Up 25, ranging from 10-20 to 11-50. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for March were Dn 3 ½, ranging from 9-71 ½ to 9-96 ½. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for March were up 5, ranging from 10-53 ¾ to 10-64 ¾.

Live Cattle for April were dn $.17 ½, closing at 143.17 ½. March Feeder cattle were dn $.67 ½, to finish the day at 164.95. Feb. Class III milk was dn $.45 to settle at 20.86.
