As we welcome a new year, many people tend to re-evaluate their financial situation and decide if, or how, they need to make changes. Make that changes within the context of informed decisions. This also holds true for farm businesses.

The University of Wisconsin-Madison Extension is hosting a series of webinars for farmers and agribusinesses to improve business profitability and lifestyles through informed decision-making.

Katie Wantoch, University of Wisconsin-Madison Extension Dunn County Agriculture Educator, says the Farm Management Fridays webinars are a part of Extension’s Farm Ready Research winter programming.

“They encompass farm management, which are on Fridays. Actually, we had one on the 17th already in December, that one focused on more of the farmland rental rates and leasing, but then they'll continue January, February and March. It also includes some dairy topics and they're held on different days, as well as smaller animals, I know there's some on sheep that are going to be held as well.”
