This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Monday. Markets were closed Friday due to the New Years, so let’s hear the recap from Terry Roggensack with the CME Group.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for March closed the day dn 8, to finish at 7-79 ¾. March Corn was dn 9 ½, to close at 5-96. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for March were dn 11 ¾, to settle at 8-12 ¾.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein was Unch, ranging from 10-50 to 13-75. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein for Feb. was Unch, ranging from 10-50 to 11-25. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein for Feb. were dn 11 ¾, ranging from 9-87 ¾ to 10-07 ¾. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for March were dn 17 ½, ranging from 11-00 ½ to 11-11 ½.

Live Cattle for Feb. were dn $.75, closing at 139.97 ½. March Feeder cattle were up $.95, to finish the day at 169.00. Feb. Class III milk was up $.17, to settle at 20.18.
