Valent's Latest Crop Protection Pt 2
With today’s Fruit Grower Report, I’m Bob Larson. If you’re not changing with times, you get left behind. That’s something Valent isn’t about to let happen with a few new products that Northwest growers could be using very soon.Valent’s Jesse Rosales began our conversation yesterday talking about the two-way insecticide, Senstar …
ROSALES … “And, the other one that’s pretty exciting, particularly important up in the Northwest, is a product by the name of Excalia. And, Excalia relies on a new technology, a new chemistry that Valent is going to be distributing in the North and the U.S. and that’s by the name of “Indoflen.”
These changes, Rosales says will help growers with things like apple scab, powdery mildew and rust diseases in apples …
ROSALES … “Our introduction for foliar fungicide control is going to be with Excalia. And, then for other markets we have a seed treatment that got launched this year as well by the name of Zeltera/Rice. And then, down the road, we have some other seed treatments, opportunities coming to the market.”
Rosales says these new products should give growers more great options …
ROSALES … “Really what Valent focuses on is innovation and value to growers so that they can help improve plant performance, and these chemistries are really intended to be just that, to improve overall plant performance with innovative approaches.”
Rosales says contact your Valent rep for more on this new lineup of products for your orchard.
