This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Friday. Markets were closed yesterday due to the Thanksgiving Holiday, so let’s take a look at commodities 1 year ago as we’ve seen markets increase across the board.

In 2020 Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for March were hanging around the 5-88 mark, while today’s price holds steady at 8-57. 2020 Dec. Corn was down at 4-27 ¼, while current Dec Corn sits at 5-76. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat 2020 prices were at the 5-50 mark, while we’re currently at 8-66.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein in 2020 ranged from 6-25 to 6-45 while we’re currently ranging from 10-90 to 14-00. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Jan. 2020 were between 6-20 to 6-45, and today we’re ranging from 10-77 to 11- 50. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein 2020 prices for Jan. were sitting at the 6-90 to 6-95, meanwhile we’re ranging from 10-26 to 10-61. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, 2020 Feb prices were between 6-76 and 7-06, and today were ranging from 11-31 to 11-46.

Prices for 2020 Live Cattle for Feb. were at $114, and today Feb Live Cattle are at 138.97. 2020 Jan. Feeder cattle were at $140.17 ½, and today they’re at 161.70. 2020 Jan. Class III milk was dn at $15.33 and today sitting over 18.42.
