This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Tuesday. Wheat continues to rally with dryer weather proving to be a key factor as they hit contracts highs yesterday. Let’s go to Terry Roggensack with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day dn 5 ¾, to finish at 7-91 ½. Dec. Corn was dn 6, to close at 5-73. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were dn 8 ¼, to settle at 7-97.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Unch, ranging from 10-25 to 14-00. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Dec. were Unch, ranging from 10-25 to 11-50. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Dec. saw a mixed market, dn 8 ½ and up 6 ¾, ranging from 9-56 ¾ to 9-93 ¼. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Dec. were dn ¾ to 5, ranging from 11-71 to 12-00 ½.

Live Cattle for Dec. were up $1.10, closing at 129.95. Jan. Feeder cattle were up $4.30, to finish the day at 157.02 ½. Dec. Class III milk was dn $.37 to settle at 18.25.
