Almond Farmer First Found Salmon Smolts in Belly of Striped Bas

Christine Gemperle, along with her brother Erich, work together farming 135 acres of almonds in two areas of the central valley-- Ceres and Gustine. She earned a Masters in Fisheries and was the first to prove that salmon smolts were being consumed by striped bass and not the pumps.
