This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Tuesday. Cattle finished the week on with a bit of confidence as markets held steady after the midweek rally. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day dn 7 ¼, to finish at 7-34. Dec. Corn was dn 3 ½, to close at 5-30 ½. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were dn 3 ¾, to settle at 7-37 ½.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Unch, ranging from 9-75 to 13-25. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Nov. were Unch ranging from 9-75 to 10-75. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Nov. were dn 3 ¾, ranging from 8-87 ½ to 9-12 ½. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Nov. were up 4 ¼, ranging from 10-71 ½ to 10-86 ½.

Live Cattle for Dec. were up $.15, closing at 130.25. Nov. Feeder cattle were dn $.45, to finish the day at 161.15. Nov. Class III milk was up $.03 to settle at 18.77.
