This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Thursday. Feeder Cattle take 1 step forward and 2 steps back, as all profits from the day before were erased. Here’s Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to share more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day up 11 ½ to finish at 7-12 ¼. Dec. Corn was up 13 ¼, to close at 5-33 ½. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were up 14 ¼, to settle at 7-24 ½.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Unch, ranging from 10-50 to 13-50. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein for Oct. were Unch, ranging from 10-50 to 11-00. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein for Oct. were up 14 ¼, ranging from 8-66 to 8-91. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Oct. were up 17 ½, ranging from 10-39 ¾ to 10-49 ¾.

Live Cattle for Dec. were dn $.20, closing at 129.45. Oct. Feeder cattle were dn $1.65, to finish the day at 156.50. Oct. Class III milk was dn $.12 to settle at 17.15.
