I'm Fred Scheffelmaier, I'm the owner of the Country Bar and Bed and Breakfast, and then we're having a meeting here this evening or kind of an informational meeting with Brad Beus from Pasko. He owns and operates a feedlot down there, custom feeding business. I also own and operate Scheffelmaier, Meats. Have been in the meat packing business for about 30 years. And so this meeting was put together today just to educate some of the local farmers and ranchers on other alternatives to feeding cattle and maybe ways to do it in the basin and save some money in doing it. I've been involved in agriculture all my life. I was born and raised here on this place, born in 1957. My folks started this ranch in 1952. They bought it. Today, we still carry the BR brand which stands for Ben and Rose, which is my mom and dad's name. We still run a few cows. At one point we were running up to about one hundred and sixty mother cows. Now we're down into the forties. Over the years I've concentrated more on the meat packing business than I have the cattle. We the bed and breakfast is something that we put together here. Four years ago, one of my daughters came into business with me and we opened up the catering company about ten years ago in the bed and breakfast just kind of fits into the catering business.
