Universities Study Impacts of Wildfire on Grazing Operations: Producer Survey

The University of California is working with Oregon State University to better understand the impact of wildfires on grazing livestock. Producers with livestock that were affected by exposures to wildfire or by indirect smoke exposure last year are encouraged to participate in this brief, online survey that asks questions about rate of gain, milk production, grazing animal behavior, and more.

We know fire affects all facets of a livestock operation, and this is a great opportunity to develop more complete information about full-sector impacts. The survey is expected to be open until the end of June.
