This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Wednesday. Grains kick the week off with a good rally across the board with weather being a major factor. Let’s go to Scott Shellady with the CME Group to find out more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for July closed the day up 30, to finish at 693 ½. July Corn was up 32, to close at 688 ¾. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for July were up 24 ¼, to settle at 637 ½.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with Oridinaly Protein were Unch, to settle at 7-75. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for July was Unch, ranging from 7-50 to 7-85. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, for July was up 24 ¼, ranging from 7-57 ½ to 7-67 ½. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for July were up 44, ranging from 8-76 ½, to 8-86 ½.

Live Cattle for Aug were dn $2.00, closing at 116.60. Aug Feeder cattle were dn $2.20, to finish the day at 149.15. July Class III milk was dn $.17, to settle at 17.87.
