This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Friday. Corn limits up as hotter and dryer weather, along with some buying from China spur another rally. Let’s go to Scott Shellady with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for July closed the day up 27 ¾, to finish at 676 ¼. July Corn was up 40, to close at 664 ½. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for July were up 27 ½, to settle at 626 ¼.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½% Protein were Unch, to settle at 8-50. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for July was Unch, ranging from 7-50 to 7-85. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, for July had was up 27 ½, ranging from 7-46 ¼ to 7-56 ¼. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for July were up 36 ½, ranging from 8-22 ¼, to 8-32 ¼.

Live Cattle for Aug were up $.10, closing at 119.42 ½. Aug Feeder cattle were dn $2.35, to finish the day at 152.85. July Class III milk was dn $.21, to settle at 18.34.
