I’ve done a number of stories over the years about the dangers that can be encountered when people, especially young children, get active around silos which can hold hundreds of tons grain. Fall into a silo and the grain acts like quicksand.

A new fit entitled “[SILO] COMBINES FARM SAFETY EDUCATION WITH ENTERTAINMENT FOR A THOUGHT-PROVOKING TREATMENT OF THIS SIGNIFICANT SAFETY ISSUE.” The film says they are PROUD TO DONATE A PORTION OF their PROCEEDS TO THE

NATIONAL FALLEN FIREFIGHTERS FOUNDATION. Created by an act of Congress in 1992, the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation honors and remembers America’s fallen fire heroes and provides resources to assist their families in rebuilding their lives and works within the fire service community to reduce firefighter deaths and injuries.
