This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Wednesday. Corn jumps nearly 2 % as a traders start to set their sights on the $6 mark. Scott Shellady with the CME Group to covers the details.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for July closed the day up 2 ¼ to finish at 633 ½. May Corn was up 11, to close at 580. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for July were up 6, to settle at 592 ¾.

Portland prices for Ordinary Club Wheat were Unch, ranging from 6-70 to 7-05. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for May was Unch, ranging from 6-70 to 6-80. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, for May were up 5 ¾ - 10 ¾, ranging from 6-94 ¾ to 7-09 ¾. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for June were up 10 ¾ - 5 ¾, ranging from 7-71 to 7-76.

Live Cattle for June were dn $1.17 ½, closing at 122.92 ½. May Feeder cattle were dn $2.37 ½, to finish the day at 147.32 ½. May Class III milk was dn $.50, to settle at 19.46.
