This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Thursday. More action in the soybean market as newcrop continues to look for new ground for expansion. Let’s go to Scott Shellady with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for May closed the day up ¾ to finish at 616 ¼. May Corn was up 6 ¼, to close at 560 ½. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for May were up 7 ¾, to settle at 563 ¼.

Portland prices for Ordinary Club Wheat were Unch, to settle at 6-70. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for May was Unch, ranging from 6-70 to 7-65. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, for May were up 7 ¾, ranging from 6-73 ¼ to 6-88 ¼. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for June were up 13 ½, ranging from 7-39 ½ to 7-44 ½.

Live Cattle for June were up $.65, closing at 125.27 ½. May Feeder cattle were up $.90, to finish the day at 152.67 ½. May Class III milk was up $.55, at 19.18.
