This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Friday. Corn settles in after Wednesdays big rally, while wheat follows suit trading lower on the day. Let’s go to Scott Shellady with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for May closed the day dn 7 to finish at 611. May Corn was dn 4 ½, to close at 559 ¾. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for May were dn 10 ¾, to settle at 565.

Portland prices for Ordinary Club Wheat were up 5, ranging from 7-55 to 8-05. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for May was Unch, ranging from 6-80 to 7-65. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, for May were dn 10 ¾, ranging from 6-85 to 6-90. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for June were dn 11 ½, ranging from 7-19 to 7-34.

Live Cattle for June were dn $.35, closing at 122.55. May Feeder cattle were dn $.17 ½, to finish the day at 149.22 ½. May Class III milk was up $.22, at 18.45.
