This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Friday. Corn slips 2% to finish yesterday, while the rest of the grains followed the downward trend. Let’s go to Scott Shellady with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for May closed the day dn 9 ½, to finish at 630 ½. May Corn was dn 11 ½ to close at 546 ¼. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for May were dn 14, to settle at 587.

Portland prices for Ordinary Club Wheat were Unch, ranging from 7-40 to 8-00. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for May was Unch, ranging from 7-20 to 7-65. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, prices for May dn 14, ranging from 7-07 to 7-12. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for May were dn 7 ¾, ranging from 7-40 ½ to 7-50 ½.

Live Cattle for June were dn $2.37 ½, closing at 119.62 ½. May Feeder cattle were dn $3.55, to finish the day at 146.62 ½. May Class III milk was dn $.03, at 17.90.
