This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Tuesday. Soybeans led the grains yesterday, while corn found itself in a mixed market ending the day on firm ground. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for May closed the day dn 6 ½, to finish at 646 ½. May Corn was up 1 ½ to close at 547. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for May were dn 4 ½, to settle at 621 ¾.

Portland prices for Ordinary Club Wheat were Unch, ranging from 7-40 to 8-00. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for May was Unch, ranging from 7-30 to 7-65. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, for May were dn 4 ½, ranging from 7-41 ¾ to 7-51 ¾. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for May were dn 3 ½, ranging from 7-56 ¾ to 7-66 ¾.

Live Cattle for April were up $.32 ½, closing at 119.35. April Feeder cattle were up $.65, to finish the day at 139.67 ½. May Class III milk was up $.13, at 18.27.
