This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Friday. Grains saw a mixed market with wheat on the rise and corn and soybeans slipping lower. Here’s Scott Shellady with the CME Group to share more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for May closed the day up 17 ¼, to finish at 665 ¼. March Corn was dn 2 ¾ to close at 550 ¼. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for May were up 12 ¾, to settle at 643.

Portland prices for Ordinary Club Wheat were Unch, ranging from 7-40 to 7-70. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for April was Unch, ranging from 7-20 to 7-45. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, for April were up 12 ¾, ranging from 7-68 to 7-83. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for April were up 8 ¾, ranging from 7-52 ¾ to 7-67 ¾.

Live Cattle for April were dn $1.22 ½, closing at 122.92 ½. March Feeder cattle were dn $.22 ½, to finish the day at 138.20. March Class III milk was dn $.24, at 16.28.
