This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Thursday. More liquidation in the grain markets as prices sink lower after Tuesdays USDA report. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for March closed the day dn 14, to finish at 635 ½. March Corn was dn 21 ½ to close at 532 ¾. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for March. were dn 19 ½, to settle at 614.

Portland prices for Ordinary Club Wheat were Unch, ranging from 7-30 to 7-55. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for April was Unch, ranging from 7-10 to 7-45. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, for April were dn 18 ½, ranging from 7-45 to 7-65. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for April was dn 7 ½, ranging from 7-40 to 7-55.

Live Cattle for April were dn $1.12 ½, closing at 122.70. March Feeder cattle were up $.85, to finish the day at 139.50. March Class III milk was dn $.3, at 16.28.
