This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Friday. Yesterdays USDA report brought a mixed trade to the grain market, corn and wheat’s rally quickly ran out of steam while Soybeans managed to hold their own. Let’s go to Scott Shellady with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for March closed the day dn 10 ¾, to finish at 637 ½. March Corn was dn 2 to close at 550. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for March. were dn 6 ¾, to settle at 618 ¾.

Portland prices for Ordinary Club Wheat were Unch, ranging from 7-30 to 7-55. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for March was Up to 10-20, ranging from 7-10 to 7-40. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, for March were dn 6 ¾, ranging from 7-43 ¾ to 7-58 ¾. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for March was dn 3 ¼ - 28 ¼, to settle at 7-26 ¾.

Live Cattle for April were up $1.30, closing at 123.75. March Feeder cattle were up $.97 ½, to finish the day at 139.50. March Class III milk was dn $.02, at 16.01.
