This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Wednesday. Grains surging as commodities moved higher across the board, Soybeans lead the way with a 50 cent rally. Scott Shellady with the CME Group shares more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for March closed the day up 30 ¼, to finish at 665. March Corn was up 25, to close at 517 ¼. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for March. were up 28 ½, to settle at 622 ½.

Portland prices for Ordinary Club Wheat was Unch, ranging from 6-60 to 6-93. Portland Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, for March were up28 ½, ranging from 7-57 ½ to 7-87 ½. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for March was Unch, ranging from 6-40 to 7-00. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for April were up 14 ½, ranging from 7-44 to 7-59.

Live Cattle for April were dn, $.92 ½, closing at 117.65. March Feeder cattle were dn $2.92 ½, to finish the day at 133.97 ½ . Feb. Class III milk was dn $.75, at 18.68.
