This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Thursday. Feeder Cattle find strength in the cash market, as the rally continues. Virginia McGathey with the CME Group, shares the details.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for March. closed the day up 11 ¼, to finish at 588 ½. March. Corn up 3, to close at 423 ¾. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for March. were up 14 ¾, to settle at 553 ¾.

Portland prices for Ordinary Club Wheat was Unch, ranging from 6-25 to 6-45. Portland Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, for March were up 14 ¾, ranging from 6-93 ¾ to 6-98 ¾. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for March ended the day Unch, ranging from 6-20 to 6-45. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for March were up 6 ¾, ranging from 6-71 to 7-01.

Live Cattle for Feb. were up $.75, closing at 113.92 ½. Jan. Feeder cattle were up $.15, to finish the day at 141.80. Dec. Class III milk was dn $.24, at 15.64.
